4-H youth are invited to participate in 4-H Animal Clinics—a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge of animal care and welfare!

What You’ll Learn

Participating youth will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of animal care, including:

• Animal health
• Nutrition
• Care and training
• Showmanship

4-H members working with animals will develop a better understanding of how to care for them, what to feed them, and how to train them safely. By practicing best management practices, members can engage in science-based, hands-on education that boosts confidence and strengthens their connection with companion animals.

Topics will include showmanship techniques and guidelines, meat bird husbandry, egg judging, poultry judging and more!

• Rabbit Clinic- Register Here!

April 18 from 9:00-12:00

Topics will include showmanship techniques and guidelines, husbandry, nutrition, rabbit breed judging and more!

• Goat Clinic- Registration coming soon!

May 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm

Topics will include showmanship techniques, hoof trimming, husbandry and more!

• Sheep Clinic- Registration coming soon!

YQCA  (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals)- Register Here!

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8-21 with a focus on food safety, animal well-being, and character development.
