Carmen Hostetter serves as both the Commercial Livestock Educator and 4-H Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension. She began her role with 4-H in January 2023 and recently expanded her work to include support for local livestock producers. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from SUNY Cobleskill, with a concentration in Beef and Livestock. Prior to joining Extension, she spent five years managing a veterinary clinic, gaining valuable experience in animal health and client education. Her combined background in livestock production, veterinary care, and youth development makes her a well-rounded and passionate resource for both farm families and 4-H youth.
