The Kitchen Manager can assist with questions related to this application as well as inquiries about getting a 20C Food Processing License or Department of Health Permit, recipe approval, securing adequate insurance, developing production systems, or other needs to facilitate use of the space.

Cornell Cooperative Extension also offers programming for food entrepreneurs, most commonly in the winter months January to March. Some are standalone sessions but most are multi-week offerings to build skills to improve your business. 

Examples of past classes include:

  •  Building or Renovating a Commercial Kitchen For Your Food Business  
  • Making Food Products in NYS 
  • Panel of Prepared Food Entrepreneurs 
  • Production Options for Farm Food Products.
