Please join us for the 4-H End-of-the-Year Celebration on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 6:00pm-7:00pm at the CCE St Lawrence. We will be celebrating the many wonderful achievements of our 4-H'ers and volunteers this past year.
4-H Achievement Night Awards recognize 4-H members progress in their 4-H experience and cover many exciting project areas! A child's expanded knowledge, increased enthusiasm, and active participation gained in 4-H has a progressively positive effect on their lives and the lives of others. A 4-H'er can achieve in many ways: through club activities and projects, individual projects, family projects, county/regional/state program participation, and through community involvement.
Achievement is accomplished by becoming an active, responsible, concerned member of today's society. A 4-H achiever gets involved, tries new projects, participates fully and succeeds in learning, growing and passing skills and knowledge on to others.
To receive an award, 4-H'ers need to complete the 4-H Achievement Application and return it to the Extension Office by September 19th, 4:30pm. The guidelines for which award to apply for can be found HERE. You do not have to receive an award to attend this event. 4-H'ers may also be nominated for a Special Award by their Club Leader, Volunteer or through the Extension Staff.
Furthermore, the new Achievement Report combines the application and a 4-H record report. Members can obtain this document now and are encouraged to use it to document their 4-H activities throughout the year. This can be a great tool as a 4-H Permanent Record/ Achievement Report that can be added to a binder year after year to document and preserve information that the 4-H member can then use later in life as a resource when writing college application letters, employment resumes and cover letters, and scholarship applications.
