Join the 21st Century After School Program and become a Certified Babysitter! This program provides students between the ages of 11 and 14 the opportunity to become a certified babysitter. The program is being offered at Colton-Pierrepont Central School and will begin on Monday, January 8th. Students will participate in three weeks of classes that incorporate research based 4-H Babysitting Curriculum, first aid and CPR training, and hands-on learning that focuses on what it takes to be a responsible, trustworthy, caring, respectful, and safe babysitter. Participants who complete the entirety of this program will be CPR and First Aid certified. This program begins at 3:30 pm and ends at 5:00 pm. Students are able to ride the late bus home at 5:00 or they can be picked up by their parents between 5:00 and 5:30.
