Starting Seeds

  • Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Learn all you need to know about starting seeds successfully with Ken Kogut, Master Gardener Volunteer. In this two hour workshop, Ken will explain the conditions seeds need in order to germinate, and how to achieve them whether indoors or outdoors. He will show some options for d.i.y. indoor light setups too!

This workshop is part of the Homesteading for Everyone series:

Expand your skill set this year during Extension’s new Homesteading for Everyone workshop series. From March through the end of the year, we’ll focus on home-scale projects that can be incorporated in a backyard in a village or an acre in the woods.

The Homestead workshop series is dedicated to sharing timely information in a hands-on, accessible format, including support materials for participants to use at home. From gardening and raising poultry to preserving food and harnessing energy, let’s celebrate self-sufficiency while building community!
