Workshop this Sunday from 1-3 pm at Nicandri Nature Center with MGV Miki and Nick.
Nurturing Natives & Preventing Pests

Join Master Gardener Volunteer Miki to learn why native plants are important, how to find natives, where to buy and plant them on your property.
Then, Natural Resource Educator Nick will talk about ticks and mosquitos and how to protect yourself and your family. Participants will make tick tubes, so please bring toilet paper rolls and dryer lint for this activity. Nick will also demonstrate how to make mosquito buckets and have free BTI dunks to take home.
Free and open to the public, no registration required.
