  • Opportunity to take part in canning process start to finish, using chicken raised at the Extension Learning Farm
  • Background information on why and how pressure canning works
  • Examples of four different models of pressure canners
  • Handouts and recipes
  • Ample time for questions

Taught by Local Food Program Leader, M. Flip Filippi with participation from Master Food Preserver Volunteers.

Workshop is part of Extension's Homesteading for Everyone Series. Session is held in person at the Harvest Kitchen at the Extension Learning Farm.
