For more than 35 years, Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County and the SUNY Canton Veterinary Technician Program have partnered to provide local youth with hands-on experience in animal science and veterinary medicine.
This year's program will feature an immersive full day of activities at SUNY Canton. Youth will rotate through engaging, hands-on stations including radiology, lab work, dentistry, bandaging, and so much more.
Participants will also enjoy lunch on campus and take part in a guided campus tour, giving youth the opportunity to experience college life firsthand.
Youth with learn from and engage with SUNY Canton veterinary technology students and professors, providing participants with real-world skills.
