Description: Enjoy a hands-on fermentation workshop. Folks will learn the basics of fermenting vegetables such as how it works, salt to vegetable ratios, tending the ferment and how to know when it's done. Every participant will get to choose which ferment they want to make, harvest from the fields, and pack a jar to bring home. Ingredients and jars will be supplied, but participants are asked to bring their own knife and cutting board. Workshop is by donation.
Parking: We can accommodate around 30 vehicles. First parking spot is at the edge of the main farm circular driveway. Second spot is by the new barn. Third spot is alongside the entrance to Taylor Park Road. NO on street (Miner Street) parking.

Farm Bio: littleGrasse is a community farm offering a broad diversity of vegetables, herbs and flowers to our Free Choice Shares. Our farm members have open access to all the gardens during any daylight hours during the share season, to choose the items they like. We prioritize soil and community health using zero herbicides or pesticides in field production.
