NOTE: This class is held at the Morristown Fire Hall.
Join the Master Food Preserver Volunteers in this fun, informative in-person class. The instructors will share their enthusiasm for this simple preservation method with two techniques for fermenting vegetables. During this class, produce such as cabbage, carrots and garlic will be used, but the goal is for everyone to be comfortable trying this nutritious, flexible method at home with the seasonal produce of your choice. Participants will have the chance to make two recipes, sample other fermented products and take home a jar to ferment on their own.
Class size is limited to offer hands-on opportunities for every participant. Pre-registration is required.
