Tamara Hill serves as the 4-H Youth and Family Team Leader. A lifelong advocate of 4-H, Tamara’s passion for youth development began with her own involvement in the 4-H horse program as a child. With fifteen years of teaching experience and thirteen years in the non-profit sector—including five years with Extension—Tamara focuses on aligning community programs, events, and resources to enhance the well-being of youth in St. Lawrence County. She holds both a Master’s in Teaching and an undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from SUNY Potsdam.
In her leadership role, Tamara oversees a dedicated team responsible for a wide range of dynamic youth and family programming. This includes after-school activities, summer camps, 4-H clubs, county fair coordination, youth animal programs, and engaging special interest programs. Her commitment to empowering young people and strengthening families is evident in her collaborative approach and strong connection to the mission of 4-H.
