Getting Started Sheep & Goats

Lecture portion in the morning, demonstrations in the afternoon. Come to part or all of the day's activities. Bring your lunch.

Includes: Things you should think about when getting started in a sheep or goat enterprise like what breed should I choose, when should I lamb or kid, housing and fencing options, health and feeding considerations and more.

Hands on demonstrations to include hoof trimming, electro-net moving, giving injections, drenching, etc.
