Lecture Friday evening 7-9 pm October 26th at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043B State Highway 68, Canton, NY

Chute side training with Amy Thompson, DVM, Saturday morning October 27th 10-noon at Brian and Brenda Burke's farm at 1903 State Highway 310 between Canton and Madrid.

Get certified! Attend both classes - Friday and Saturday

What is Beef Quality Assurance? It is the assurance of safe and wholesome beef products. The purpose of BQA is to enhance carcass quality and safety thereby protecting consumer confidence in the beef supply. The BQA program is based on research and national guidelines. BQA certification is required for the New York Grown and Certified Program.

The class and hands-on training include animal care, animal handling, injection sites, treatment record keeping, and food safety.
