What is Beef Quality Assurance? It is the assurance of safe and wholesome beef products. The purpose of BQA is to enhance carcass quality and safety thereby protecting consumer confidence in the beef supply. The BQA program is based on research and national guidelines. BQA certification is required for the New York Grown and Certified Program.
The class and hands-on training include animal care, animal handling, injection sites, treatment record keeping, and food safety.
