Homemade Tortillas & Seasonal Tacos

Celebrate fall with a delicious fresh taco in a hands-on workshop in the Harvest Kitchen at the Extension Learning Farm.

This workshop includes:

  • Learn about corn masa and make dough
  • Cook fresh corn tortillas
  • Prepare filling ingredients including locally sourced meat, beans and fresh vegetables
  • Share a meal with class participants
  • Layering flavors and textures in your tacos to create unique seasonally inspired snapshots
  • Handout for making fresh tortillas and tacos

The class size is limited and registration is offered on a sliding scale, $10-40 where participants pay what they can afford. The workshop is taught by the Local Food Program Educators in the Ag and Food System department at Cornell Cooperative Extension.
