Description: During the demonstration, there will be examples of raw alpaca fiber, spinning roving, and the final yarn products. The process from caring for alpacas to the final hank of yarn will be shared and any questions are welcomed. Spinning will be demonstrated for two hours. Rock Hollow Farm has 8 alpaca boys in residence. Their fiber is spun into a chunky yarn that lends itself beautifully to knitted and crocheted warmth such as headbands, hats, mittens and half mitts.
Parking: Plenty of parking on Main Street or in the municipal parking lot off Hodskin Street.
