In Season: Our Rural Food System in Photos

Celebrate Local Food with new Exhibit. If you have a passion for local food or want to learn more about the region, visit the exhibit In Season: Our Rural Food System in Photos curated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County. Read the stories and enjoy photos representing over 80 area businesses.

What it is

This exhibit is the culmination of four years of activity. Since 2018, Cornell Cooperative Extension has been offering free professional photo shoots to any direct market producer who sells food in St. Lawrence County. The producers have 100% access to their images which have been used for their own education and promotion purposes.

Now Extension has organized these fabulous images into an exhibit featuring 300+ images of local producers. It’s organized the exhibit into several fun mini themes including:

  • Animals on the Farm
  • Generations on the Land
  • Art Inspired by Agriculture
  • Why I Produce Food
  • Anatomy of a Dish
  • Scales of Production
  • About Extension
