Reduce your bills, reduce unnecessary waste, and be climate smart.
Our vendors will show you how.

There will be exhibits, vendors, hands-on demos, electric vehicles, and Kid Zone!

*Food and agriculture* will be represented by a wide assortment of local resources, including Big Spoon Kitchen, Birdsfoot Farm, Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, GardenShare, Grasse River Hemp, and Potsdam Food Co-op.

*Climate-focused organizations* include the Canton Sustainability Committee, Emissions Quiz, and the Potsdam Climate Smart Community.

*Local resource use and education* are covered by Casella Waste Systems, Clarkson University Food-to-Energy Group and Potsdam Food Waste Management Food Waste Program, St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES, and SUNY Canton Automotive Technology.

*Ecology* as a broad topic is amply represented by ECO AmeriCorps, Indian Creek Nature Center, Nature Up North, Nicandri Nature Center, Pollinator Pals Program (Local Living Venture), Sustainability Committee - Food & Ag group + the Plastics subcommittee, St. Lawrence County Environmental Management Council, and the St. Lawrence University Environmental Action Organization.

*Community organizations* include Deep Root Center & DRC East, League of Women Voters of St. Lawrence County, Local Living Venture, U.U. Church Faith in Action Group, and the Volunteer Transportation Center.

*Energy* is a broad area to cover. Home energy audits, solar, small scale hydro, wind, heat pumps, heating technologies and much more are shared by CCE of SLC Energy Navigators, Clean Wood Heating (Local Living Venture), EDF Renewables, Joule Community Power, Livingston Energy Group, Northern Lights Energy, Northern Power & Light, Proven Energy Systems, Radiant Hearth, and Sandy Hollow Power Company.

The Green Living Fair is free and open to the public.

It is part of a two-day event, opening on Friday, April 22nd, that features many speakers, workshops, displays, activities, good food, and fun for the whole family, including a Kid Zone!

Parking is available in Lot J off of Park St., across from the SLU Leithead Field House where most of the Fair activities will occur on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00-3:00 p.m. For a campus map, visit www.stlawu.edu/documents/printable-campus-map.

Masks are required (and will be available), given the recent Covid uptick, in order to protect those who are at risk. The large, open space will also be ventilated with fresh air.
