Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County is seeking a dynamic subject matter expert to provide program development, implementation, management, and coordination to the Small Farms and Livestock/Animal Science Program. This position delivers technical assistance and integrated educational program to operators/owners of small farms, specifically those with less than $250,000 gross income in the county. The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills with an aptitude for building strong partnerships and a well-developed understanding of St. Lawrence County agriculture.
Required Qualifications: The position is currently posted at two separate employment classification levels: 1. Resource Educator (requiring a master’s degree in a related field of agriculture; position is salaried) and 2. Subject Educator II (master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience; position is hourly).
