Over the last two years, NY Ag and Markets Field Veterinarian, Jessica Scillieri Smith and CCE Educator, Betsy Hodge have tested many sheep and goat flocks across the 6 northern New York counties. The objective was to find the prevalence of Johnes Disease and raise awareness of the disease. We will be presenting the results of our goat study and information about Johnes Disease in general.
In addition, we will have a discussion about what is involved in testing your herd or flock to help eliminate several diseases. Join us for the discussion.
In person – we will practice social distancing and masking. We would love to see you in person, but we are offering a webinar for those that would rather attend on-line.
