Come learn about a team that rescues, shelters and cares for pets during disasters and discover what it takes to become a volunteer!

Come Learn about the St. Lawrence County Animal Response Team (SLC CART) and how to volunteer!

The purpose of the SLC CART is to plan for, and aid in, the protection of public health, the food supply, companion animals and livestock in the event of a declared emergency.


This meeting is to introduce you to who we are, what we do, and how you can help and become a volunteer with us.

Prepare:  for emergency response needs

Respond:  provide food and shelter for animals

Recover:  reunite animals with their owners
