  • Saturday, April 13, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us in the Harvest Kitchen for first-hand experience using pressure canners to create delicious, safe, ready-to-eat products. The workshop is taught by Master Food Preservers with ingredients donated by 8 O'clock Ranch in DeKalb Junction. The program will include instruction on both raw pack and hot pack method. The meats used will be pork, chicken, venison and beef.

The Harvest Kitchen is a modern teaching space and shared-use kitchen at the Extension Learning Farm. The class size for all workshops is capped to provide high-quality, hands-on opportunities for all participants.

The registration fee includes samples, recipes and a jar of product to take home.
