4-H Public Presentations and Horse Communications

Presentations will start promptly at 9:00 A.M. and will run until noon. If you have a 9:00am time slot then you must be set up and ready to present at 9:00am. Please make sure you have all your equipment, supplies, etc. and they are in working order before your presentation. Each room will have an easel but any other equipment you need from us must be requested when registering.
All Public Presentation participants and Horse Communications participants must register with our Office no later than March 7.
Register by calling the Extension Office at 379-9192, to get an assigned time.
Both Public Presentations and Horse Communications have three levels which some 4-H’ers can compete in. All 4-H’ers start at the County level, depending on their score some 4-H presenters are selected to present at the District level. Top presenters at the District level are then selected to go on to the State level, which is held at Cornell University.
At the County level Cloverbuds are encouraged to present but will not be eligible to go beyond the County level. Public Presentation and Horse Communications ages for Cloverbuds are 5-8 years of age, Public Presentations juniors are 9-12 years of age, while Horse Communications junior ages are 9-13, and Public Presentation seniors ages are 13-18 years and senior Horse Communications are 14-18 years of age.
