They ultimately settled on using drip irrigation which they have found to be economical and advantageous for the plants and an efficient use of our water resources. This workshop will explain the benefits of drip irrigation, help you design a system that is optimal for your purposes, and source the necessary materials to maximize the potential benefits of using drip irrigation in your gardens.Linda and Matt will provide you with information about various irrigation methods and help you plan for your specific needs. Please bring a photo or diagram with measurements of the area you wish to irrigate and a brief description of what is planted or will be planted in the space.Linda and Matt are Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists who cultivate multiple vegetable and pollinator gardens at Peacock & Pony Farm and at the Baker Woods Preserve (BWP) in Natural Bridge, NY.This workshop is part of the Homesteading for Everyone series:Expand your skill set this year during Extension’s new Homesteading for Everyone workshop series.
