At the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School

Clover Buds
We understand that students in Kindergarten through 4th grade may not always have homework, so there will be reading times and times for the students to play games with each other. Students that have homework will have the ability to work in a quiet space with an educator that can help them as needed.
Some of the most important lessons youth can learn at this age is how to respect others, themselves, and the environment around them. Through group and individual activities, students will gain the confidence to work with others, stand up for themselves, and know when to get help from their peers or a trusted adult.
Explorers
Students in 5th to 8th grade start getting more complex homework; there are more times that they will need help with their homework. With the help of different educators and PH teachers, the student will get the help they need to succeed, and complete their homework.
Students in the Explorers Program will work on larger and longer activities through clubs. Students will learn about different careers with volunteer guests in career fields from banking, emergency services, agricultural, and many other occupational fields. Students that have a passion or interest in specific areas will get to gain a leadership role by helping run the activities and clubs.
